WHAT DRIVES ME
For me, a camera was and is much more than just a tool. It is like a constant companion, a good friend. For me, it was never about technical values, megapixels or sensors. For me, a camera must above all have a soul. That's why I shoot almost exclusively with Leica. That has been the case since my earliest youth.
Of course, what I photograph has changed over the years. Nevertheless, I have always remained true to my style over all these years, but without wanting to repeat myself. Because that would be too boring and one-dimensional for me personally. I think my own creative development is damn important.
How you did it yesterday is not what you should do today or tomorrow. Nothing stays the same, and I don't want that either. Because that would mean: If you know one picture, you know them all. And that is exactly what I want to avoid at all costs.
